National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Week

Sexual Violence Against People with Developmental Disabilities Awareness Week

3/26/2007 - 3/30/2007, Oregon

March is observed as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and April is observed as National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This provides a great opportunity to combine efforts to raise awareness about sexual violence in this high risk community.

To do just that, the Oregon Attorney General's Sexual Assault Task Force in partnership with the Oregon Council on Developmental Disabilities encourage communities to observe the week of March 25-31 as a week to increase awareness about sexual violence against people with developmental disabilities. Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)

Children’s Mental Health Week (May 6-12)
