Charge:

• To ensure targeted CEV (Children's Exposure to Violence)/Chicago Safe Start service provisions for children five and younger and their families who have been exposed to violence
• To work towards increasing the community's awareness of CEV through
  providing consumer training and education, becoming a stated presence in the
  community, and connecting with children and families in the places they
  frequent
• To support efforts aimed at identifying and changing how systems
  respond to children and families where CEV is an issue
